Frequently Asked
Questions

Everything you need to know about our $395/mo small business website plan.

Getting Started

How do I get started?

Send a message through the contact form or book a quick call. We’ll talk through what your business does, what the site needs to accomplish, and whether we’re the right fit. If it makes sense, you sign the agreement, we kick off design, and your site goes live in a few weeks.

Who is this for?

Small business owners who want a real, custom website without dropping $5,000 upfront. Service businesses, contractors, local shops, professional practices, anyone who needs a site that loads fast, ranks locally, and actually brings in customers. If you just want a cheap template, we’re probably not the right fit.

Where are you based?

Queen Creek, Arizona. Owner-operated, no agency middlemen. We work with businesses across the East Valley and all over the country.

Pricing & Contract

What does it cost?

$395 per month. $0 down. 12-month minimum. That covers design, development, hosting, SSL, backups, unlimited content edits, and direct support. No setup fees, no surprise charges. Full details on the pricing page.

Why a 12-month minimum?

Because we custom-code your site from scratch instead of dropping a template on you. The 12-month term lets us skip the big upfront build fee most agencies charge and spread it across the year. After month 12, you decide what comes next.

What happens if I cancel early?

If you cancel before completing the 12-month term, you owe the remaining monthly payments. Example: cancel after 6 months and you still owe the last 6. That’s how we’re able to offer $0 down in the first place.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes. If we can’t land on a design you love before launch, you get a full refund of anything paid and walk away with no further obligation. Once the site goes live, the standard contract terms kick in.

How do I pay?

Credit or debit card via Stripe. Billed automatically each month.

What's Included

How many pages do I get?

Up to 10 pages included. That’s plenty for most small businesses: home, about, services hub, individual service pages, location pages, contact. Need more? Extra pages are $100 each, one-time.

What does "unlimited edits" actually mean?

Text changes, image swaps, new sections, updating hours, adding team members, swapping out the hero photo, tweaking colors, whatever. Send a message and we handle it, usually within 1–2 business days. It does not mean "rebuild the whole site every month" — a full redesign is a separate conversation.

Is hosting included?

Yes. Hosting, SSL, daily backups, and uptime monitoring are all bundled into the monthly price. You don’t need a separate host, domain registrar aside (you keep your own domain).

What about SEO?

Every site gets a local SEO foundation built in: clean code, fast load times, proper schema markup, optimized meta tags, sitemap, and help setting up or improving your Google Business Profile. If you want ongoing content work (monthly blog posts or SEO landing pages), that’s a $150/mo add-on.

Do you design the logo too?

Not by default. If you have a logo, great. If you need one, we can handle it as an add-on or point you toward someone who specializes in branding.

Process & Timeline

How long until my site is live?

Usually 2–4 weeks from kickoff, depending on how fast we get content and feedback from you. Simple sites can go live faster. We don’t drag builds out — the sooner it launches, the sooner it starts bringing in customers.

Who will I be working with?

Drew. That’s it. No account managers, no junior dev handoffs, no overseas subcontractors. You talk directly to the person building and maintaining your site.

How do we communicate?

Text, email, or phone, whatever works for you. No ticket systems, no required logins, no portals. If it’s urgent, text. If it’s a longer ask, email.

How fast are edits turned around?

Most content edits are done within 1–2 business days. Small tweaks are often same-day. Bigger changes (new page, new feature) get an honest timeline up front.

Ownership & After Year One

Who owns the site?

During the subscription, we own the underlying code and you’re licensed to use it for your business. You always own your content (text, images, logos). After 12 months, you can take full ownership of the code by paying a one-time $500 transfer fee.

What happens after 12 months?

You have three options: (1) keep the $395/mo subscription going month-to-month with everything still included, (2) pay a one-time $500 transfer fee and take the code to host wherever you want, or (3) end the agreement and we take the site offline.

Does the $395/mo rate go up after year one?

No. Your rate stays at $395/mo as long as you stay subscribed. No auto-renewals at a higher tier, no sneaky price hikes.

Can I buy the code mid-contract?

Not at launch. For now, the buyout option kicks in after you’ve completed the 12-month term. We may add a mid-contract buyout option later if clients ask for it.

Technical

What is the site built with?

Every site is hand-coded from scratch using the same modern technology behind Nike, TikTok, and Hulu. No WordPress, no Wix, no Squarespace, no page builders. That’s why our sites load in under a second while most small business sites take 5–10 seconds.

Will my site work on mobile?

Every site is built mobile-first. Most of your customers are searching on their phones, so the mobile experience gets just as much attention as desktop, sometimes more.

Can I edit the site myself?

Since the site is custom-coded, there’s no WordPress dashboard to log into. But that’s the point of unlimited edits: you don’t need to. Send a message, we handle it. No learning a CMS, no breaking your site with a bad plugin update.

What if my site goes down?

Our hosting (Vercel) runs on enterprise-grade infrastructure with 99.99% uptime. If anything does go wrong, you’re not opening a ticket with some hosting company’s support queue, you’re texting the person who built it.
